Woke up on the left side...

So, last night I went to bed at 10:00 with the hope to catch up on my sleep. I couldn't fall asleep at all! I mean I never got into deep sleep! Fast forward 6:50am, my alarm clock goes off and I am literally in zombie mode... I couldn't think right! I was so exhausted... Anyways, I gathered my courage and got ready to go to class, barely made it on time.
In the meanwhile I had to pick up my bursary check at school before I went to pick up my daughter at the babysitter's but while I was on my way there I realized I forgot to pick up the check and the registry would be closed the next day so I had to go back and pick it up! Finally picked up my daughter and I got home but guess what?!! I forgot the keys inside the house!!!!! I was so mad! I called my bf to come an let me in...


What a freakin day!!

The photoshop epidemic!

It is very sad to see little 10 year old girls say that they hate how they look only because they compare themselves to models in the magazines... the problem here is that those models don't actually look that way! No way! That is an image Photoshopped over a 1000 times or most of the times its not even one model, they take different parts of different women to create 1 perfect, wrinkle free, freckle free woman. She is IMPOSSIBLY BEAUTIFUL!

Women self esteem is at its lowest, eating disorders are at their highest they have ever been! what you see on TV is not how those people really look like. Cindy Crawford once said.... I Wish I looked like Cindy Crawford....
After appearing on a magazine looking thinner than she actually is, Kate Winslet the star of Titanic said I look Nothing like that, I can tell you that my legs on there are just a 1/3 of what I actually look like. They didn't get her permission to Photoshop her and she is an advocate of loving the way you look.

Love yourself the way you are.... that's where lies the true beauty, self confidence can get you whatever and wherever you need to be! I mean I know everybody have their own insecurities, God knows I do but I am learning how to love and accept my imperfections as a part of who I really am.

how to stop a guy from treating you like sh!t

I am so sick and tired about stories I hear about friends, women, getting mistreated, beaten, etc

First off, you need to know that whatever situation you r in, no one can help you unless you want help that's the cardinal rule

Secondly, he is still treating you that way because you're still letting him... Let's be honest if the man you're so in love with comes home at 4 in the morn and beats u up then what Is there to love? Think about it... I know "live can be blind" but come on, not that blind. If your man is constantly cheating he is not worthy of your time.. And what u think is love you're feeling is fear of rejection..

Three, you know why you're staying... Unless he got you in cuffs You have that decision to stay or leave so what is it going to be? You will start out new ya ya it's not that easy?? Well yes it is unless you wanna become another statistics of some 50yr old woman bitter with life all becoz she couldn't start out new again?.... Is that future attractive? I'm sure you know the answer...

Four, whatever you might be dealing with, NEVER let a man control your life. Love is never about control. Love is about trust, love is about growing together. Don't let a man hold you back. You have a brain don't down play yourself, don't become someone else to please him, be yourself. If a man doesn't love you for who you r, dump his ass someone far more worthy will make you the happiest woman alive.

I'm not gonna apologize for my bluntness because sometimes someone needs a wake up call, someone to help you slap yourself back to REALITY... Act. On it, be a strong woman. Love yourself Hun because if you don't how do you expect someone else to love you? When you don't love yourself meaning when you don't kick his ass on the curb when you catch him cheating with "miss Brittany" from Down the road for the 78th time you're just giving him the green light to stump on you and treat you like u don't have a functioning brain.

I am hardly a professional in this subject, I understand how hard it is living in this situation of violence, all I want to say is that there is hope. There is help out there, Please don't give up, don't let him rule your life.

Date night

Tonight is our date night and we are watching a movie... Guess which one? Breaking dawn... Well, since I read all the book series I should also watch the movie to see if my imagination matches the director's. Anyways, I hope it is good :)

Ready to drop!

When you wake up early and go to sleep late, day in, day out, eventually it catches up on you. It creeps on you unexpectedly, very slowly... I was standing in line waiting to pay for my tea and all of a sudden I felt so tired and weak just as if I had just been hit by a bus! I am truly out of my element today.
The clock reads 9:33, my class goes till 10:50 and I'm struggling to stay awake. Thankfully I'm off tomorrow and I can catch up on my sleep! My boyfriend is also off of work so we can catch up!

Back for good!

Okay, I know I haven't been posting regularly... I have been so busy but now I am back in force and I will be updating very regularly. what have been happening in my life? well, crazy what can happen in a month's time! I am almost done my semester in school, I have a Christmas tree set up already! (I know I know!) Anyways, I am very happy with my life right now :)

Recently, my boyfriend and I went through all of our clothes and we put together everything we don't wear anymore.... it was A LOT! Anyways, we brought it down to value village and while we was there, we looked around and guess what we found?!!! ARTWORK! I mean, real good paintings and pictures so we bought a couple... I am surely going back! It is a hidden wonderland for art lovers I tell ya!...

what else?,... oh my daughter has been growing up so very fast! I mean I was always told that kids grow up fast but in my mind, it was only yesterday that I was waking up every 20 minutes at night! Now she is 6 months old and I got my body back! I always get the question... how did I loose all the baby weight right away?.. well for me, I'm lucky to say it was simple...I took 3 months off after having Léa and I spend everyday having walks with her, but the main thing was breastfeeding... it truly works. I now having the exact same weight I had before I was pregnant.

Anyways, I'm going to stop here for tonight, I will be logging in very often!
